I picked this up at the store when my swiffer vaccuum died. They do not make it anymore – and I needed a quick electric broom to sweep up crumbs for my kids and the massive amount of golden retriever hair on a daily basis.
This has terrible suction. I am very disapoointed.
I was in a car accident 5 years ago with a 14 time drunken driver and broken my neck, back, hip and shoulder. Regular vacuums were out of the question for me as I suffer in extreme pain and must take handfuls of narcotics and other potent medications to the tune of 54 pills a day. My savior to cleaning my floors, whether they be hardwood, ceramic or even the area carpets has been the Shark Vacuum. It weighs next to nothing, places no force on my body and does not increase my pain much. I can get under coffee tables, under the beds and never have to bend my back. I can do all the vacuuming standing upright and it is a breeze. Emptying the cup requires a light lift up to the trash can and a simple push and it is emptied and clean. Then it is ready to go back to work. My only complaint, and I wish I could have given it 5 stars, is that I have 13 rooms in my home and I cannot do the whole house continuously. I do four or 5 rooms then I need to stop and recharge for several hours before I can finish the house and sometimes need to charge 3 times over a two day period to be able to use it for the whole house. Other than that irritation with this machine, it is great, cleans better than a broom and dustpan, better than vacuums that I have paid 0-0 for and there are no extra HEPA filters to buy in the future or anything like that. I bought mine on sale online for much less money and with shipping I believe the total cost was something like .98.
It was worth every penney and for those of you with medical problems or in a wheelchair this is he tool for you. It weighs so little, works GREAT, you will have exceptionally clean floors and emptying it is simple and you will love it. Now this company needs to improve on the length of time the charge holds on this machine so it will work for a good 5-6 hours and they will have the best vacuum on the market for the disabled especially. I found this tv for 249 at Wal Mart – usually priced 289 in our local store. I brought it home, and out of the box it was ready to go. I hooked up my ps3 with component and my laptop with hdmi and so far everything looks great. The color settings do need some tweaking, but overall, for the money you can’t go wrong. Sanyo isn’t the biggest of brands, but it comes with a year warranty and is great if you’re looking for a simple tv for your gaming systems. I use this in my bedroom and the audio is perfect for smaller rooms.
I don’t watch tv, so I can’t give you any reviews of what it looks like with antenna/cable tv. but it is digital ready, so you just need an antenna.

As others have pointed out, the Sanyo VPC-HD2000 (and VPC-FH1) will lose about 10 seconds of video every 22 minutes (or so) when the file size hits the 4Gb limit for the FAT filesystem. At this point, the camera opens a new file and loses about 10 seconds of video in the process.
Other camcorders (Canon, Sony, etc.) don’t seem to exhibit this issue. One way manufacturers work around the issue is to buffer the video input during the switch over so that no frames are lost. I’m assuming that, given the price, Sanyo had to cut corners here.
I like to set up my camcorder on a tripod and just let it run for the length of an event. If I’m filming a recital, for example, I don’t want random 10 second chunks missing. For me, this is a deal breaker. Purchased this as a quick replacement for a dead unit. The compact size is the attraction here but it simply doesn’t have enough power to do some tasks. Microwave popcorn is impossible with this unit. Also, the frequently used labels on the touch panel have worn off.
After a year of use, this still works for most of our needs but are searching for something with a little more power in a compact size. It works well for rice, but don’t try to cook oatmeal with this thing, despite the fact that it has a “Porridge” setting. Oatmeal goo will start bubbling out of the top and then you will spend a long time trying to clean up because oatmeal paste will have oozed into every nook and cranny of the cooker lid. You will not be able to take off the hinged top to clean it.

I read all the hype and believed it…
Then I ordered this batteries and totally disappointed.
They were not full charged when arrived as supposed to be.
I had them ready for use and they tucked out and I had no replacement.
Then after full charges… they hold the charge LESS than othe generic rechargeable batteries I have purchased previously.
