After much tweaking of my P series Sony sub-netbook (or whatever you call it) I have found it to be a useful travel companion. I have put Windows 7 on it and other than the battery life was pretty happy with the mobility vs. performance aspects of the P series. After all, there was only so much performance I could expect for something so light. I finally went for the $100 battery and was glad I did, I’m getting at least twice and maybe 2.5 times the life where I now feel like I can get 3 hours of work done without fear of my power running out. With the little adaptor I have even done full powerpoint presentations. And people keep stopping me asking about “that little computer”… I recommend the battery upgrade to anyone that regularly uses their P series unplugged and that should be everyone.
