I ordered this keyboard for my second computer. For my first computer I already have a keyboard I absolutely love: Logitech’s diNovo Edge.
Compared to Logitech’s diNovo Edge this keyboard is half the price, it’s slightly thinner, it’s completely backlit and most importantly, it does have a Num-pad. On the other hand it’s not wireless, it doesn’t feel as sturdy, it’s missing the touchpad and the multimedia controls and as you’ll see next, it didn’t cut it for me.
After a couple weeks the colon/semicolon key started looking twisted until it finally fell off the keyboard. With utmost care I placed it back but it would keep falling apart. Later I realized the back of the key was defective.
Keep in mind I didn’t abuse this keyboard in any way, actually, I barely used it.
I know Logitech makes quality products, I love my diNovo Edge and I also own two MX Revolution (best mouse on earth). I’m surprised and a little disappointed about this backlit keyboard, it’s the first time they ever let me down.
