I bought this and returned it for a Nikon D90. Poor quality and it felt like a toy compared to the Nikon D90. Don’t waste your time or money. Go with Nikon or Canon. It blurs even slow moving objects in sports mode. My child was just walking by and his face is blurred…big time….I bought the camera because it focused so quickly..DON’T BUY IT unless all of your subjects will be sitting still. I just got this camera and for some reason when I stick my 8gb fat32 memory stick duo it says not enough space on memory card and I can’t record anything but I can take pics but when I stick my 1gb fat format stick in it does let me record. then I convert the 1 gig to fat32 and it doesn’t let me record. so my question is do your cameras let your record while in fat32 file format cause it should or it doesn’t make sense to advertise that it supports up to 16 gig memory cards . pls email me at azidrain101 at yahoo.com help aprecciated thxSony Cybershot DSC-T500 10MP Digital Camera with 5x Optical Zoom with Super Steady Shot Image Stabilization
update* I tried with 3 different memory sticks 2 sandisks and 1 sony and they all didn’t work so I don’t think its because memory stick is fake. I talked to tech support and I had to send in the camera for repairs. wow new camera and its already in repairs what a piece of crap

the camera is nice and good in general aspects, but it’s memory card, connecting cable and battery are not compatible with any other brand.
