I got this item because my Tivo remote did not contain the codes for my TV and after spending hours using the manual search it would still not control the TV.
This piece of trash controlled the TV, however when you hit volume down, half the time, it would go volume up instead. When I hit mute, it would usually double hit so it would mute then unmute instantly.
TO top it off, when I decided to remove the batteries so I could just go back to using the two remote system, the battery compartment was jammed shut, and I had to break open the remote to get the batteries out.
I am so disgusted with this product.
